Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Inform Health Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Baseline Year: 2019/2020

Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.

This is Inform Health Limited’s first report on emissions. The baseline year of 2019/2020 was set to accurately reflect energy use before the pandemic and the changes in working practices since then.

As a small business in managed accommodation with included utilities charges and no company vehicles it is difficult to quantify the actual energy utilisation and emissions.

The Scope 3 emissions is included which accounts for business travel, but in future years the impact of other emissions sources will be included where possible.

Baseline year emissions:

Scope 2

0.434 tCO2e

Scope 3 (Included Sources)

Emissions reduction targets

Due to changes to working practices resulting from the pandemic, business travel is greatly reduced as meetings are now conducted virtually and electricity utilisation for the office is also reduced due to low occupancy.

Inform Health Limited anticipate that it will have completed its Net Zero plan by March 2023 and will be Net Zero by 2040.

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2020 baseline. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes equate to 15.66 tCO2e, a 93.58%ge reduction against the 2020 baseline and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract

• Moving to paper free where possible

• A reduction in business travel through the use of virtual meeting functionality

• Ensuring business travel is using shared transport where possible

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

• Ensuring the supply chain utilises green energy

• Offering electric vehicles to staff as part of a salary sacrifice scheme

• Encouraging staff to walk or cycle to work where possible

• Utilising carbon offsets for business travel and energy utilisation
